Peggy Sue was found by a young man in Southern California — dehydrated, weak, and suffering from severe heat exhaustion.
He immediately reached out to husky advocate Laura Hernandez, who rescued Peggy Sue on the spot and got her to safety.
She's now in a foster home for the next 30 days, slowly regaining her strength. We are sharing her journey so everyone who has been following Peggy Sue can see how far she has come.
